Tell us about yourself?
I am the Founder and CEO of the AI-powered video commerce platform Flickstree. I bring experience in content & marketing spanning almost two decades.
Over the years, I’ve introduced a variety of products and services that now generate over $100 million in revenue. I am a dreamer, a speaker, a learner and a tech enthusiast.
What lessons has being an entrepreneur taught you?
I live by the motto “Winning one day at a time.” Scaling a business is more difficult than just getting it off the ground.
A personal connection to what you’re doing, however, is the most powerful fuel. I believe the key to changing the game is to inspire yourself to achieve smaller victories each day.
1. Lifetime Learner: I’ve learned to be excited about learning something new every day from being an entrepreneur. I read books that share the successes and failures of other successful entrepreneurs. These accounts serve as a benchmark and best practises that one could apply to their own learning.
2. Tech Savvy: It’s important to stay current with new developments in this field.
If you could go back in time to when you first started your business, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Stay humble, stay focussed, have patience. Believe in yourself that you are made to create something path-breaking.
A lot of entrepreneurs find it difficult to balance their work and personal lives. How have you found that?
If you love what you do, work doesn’t seem like work.
Have nurtured my startup day-by-day and it never seemed like work to me.
Have a supportive family, we celebrate each other’s success routinely.

Flickstree uses the power of Artificial Intelligence to create the most compelling branded video content at scale, at no-cost for brands.
We use our data engine to promote these videos that keeps churning transactions on an auto-pilot mode.
With over 25 million monthly active users driving over 150 thousand transactions per month,
Flickstree works with over 200 brands worldwide driving transactions over $50 million annually.
We are aggressively expanding our footprints globally, thereby capturing the $380 Bn market.
What do you think is your magic sauce? What sets you apart from the competitors?
Flickstree creates AI-based great content that consumers love to watch and transact, makes this a cutting-edge platform to partner with, for all e-commerce brands worldwide.
How have you found sales so far? Do you have any lessons you could pass on to other founders in the same market as you just starting out?
Yes. As mentioned previously, Flickstree works with over 200 brands worldwide driving transactions over $50 million annually.
One of the lessons that we learnt which may help other founders is to remain agile. Agility and fast adaptability is the key to grow at scale.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far in your business, and how did you overcome it?
Getting the product market fit is the biggest challenge. Creating hypothesis, and experimenting with different solutions around the problem has given us results.
What do you consider are the main strengths of operating your business in India and the specific state you are in over other states in India?
India has 356 million mobile video viewers, which is a sizeable market. The main sources of strength for Flickstree are:
1. We work in the field of video commerce, where AI is used to mass-produce videos.
2. We have a significant publisher network in India. Our product PlusYou Club, which provides users with gift cards and rewards through various engagement strategies, is quite well-liked.

What (if any) are some weaknesses of operating your business within India and your state?
Content is key. We use AI voiceover to adapt the content to the local language.
With multiple languages spoken in the country, The AI voiceover on the accents and dialects needs to be heavily trained.
As entrepreneurs, we love these challenges.
If you could operate your business in another state in India rather than the State you are in, which state would it be and why?
We have multiple offices in India. Besides, we also have offices in UAE, Singapore and expanding further into more countries.
India has an incredibly diverse population. How has the affected your consumer base and business?
The impact of diverse population has been positive. The video consumption pattern across the globe despite the diversity is similar.
Infrastructure is really important to businesses. How have you seen India’s infrastructure improve recently? Do you see new opportunities opening up?
Tech infrastructure in India is one of the best. The VC space is very hot. Opportunities here are huge. For a tech startup, this is the best place to be in.
What do you want to accomplish in the next 5 years with your business?
To be the world’s largest player, that uses the power of content and data to enable people to buy right products and services, globally.
