Tell us about yourself?
Hi, This is Shubham Singh founder and CEO of VD Group of Companies an Indian Conglomerate Company. I Started my entrepreneurial journey at the age of 14. I’m one among the youngest entrepreneurs of country.
What lessons has being an entrepreneur taught you?
More than the Idea and Planning, Execution Matters. Because until you haven’t executed the idea it’s a normal thinking.
If you could go back in time to when you first started your business, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
The of advice that I’ll give to myself is don’t waste the time in planning just execute the idea as soon as possible, else you will find the same idea in market while you are planning for it
A lot of entrepreneurs find it difficult to balance their work and personal lives. How have you found that?
If you’re an entrepreneur you will not have a fixed schedule for working, and you have to work round the clock, so some times it become difficult to handle the things, but it’s not the big deal to handle it.
Give us a bit of an insight into the influences behind the company?
I was a small kid of 14 years when i tried building my first venture, and I faced a lot of problem in starting my first company, and this gives me the idea for my next venture, I decided to make a complete ecosystem of services and informations required for starting a company.
So, under VD Hosts we provide all the digital solution, like app development, IT infrastructure, Cloud computing, Cybersecurity, Startup Solution etc.
I have few other startups in different field, Like Education, Medical, SaaS and media
What do you think is your magic sauce? What sets you apart from the competitors?
We provide complete and dedicated solution to our customer,
We have build one stop solution for all digital need and India’s first dedicated digital marketplace to provide a lot of services within cost effective price and 48 hours of time.
How have you found sales so far? Do you have any lessons you could pass on to other founders in the same market as you just starting out?
A lot of sales are organic and word of mouth based, We only provide the best service from our end and get our clients satisfied, So they also refer us the sales.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far in your business, and how did you overcome it?
It’s nothing like biggest and smallest challenge in entrepreneurship, But the main thing in a business is to collect clients feedback about the services.
And earlier i was not able to collect organised feedback, So I have used automation and automated the process.
What do you consider are the main strengths of operating your business in India and the specific state you are in over other states in India?
Our main business is based on online. So the specific location is India does not effect much. We work world wide and within India we have offices in Bangalore, Delhi, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Kota.
What (if any) are some weaknesses of operating your business within India and your state?
I don’t thing there is any weakness of operating business within India, as India has developed a great ecosystem for entrepreneurship.
If you could operate your business in another state in India rather than the State you are in, which state would it be and why?
We already have our offices in different states.
India has an incredibly diverse population. How has the affected your consumer base and business?
Every Business have different and targeted audience, As we are already working in different sectors like Healthcare, Education, IT, Entertainment, Media etc, So we cover a lot of audience.
Infrastructure is really important to businesses. How have you seen India’s infrastructure improve recently? Do you see new opportunities opening up?
India has developed a great ecosystem and infrastructure of entrepreneurship, Startup programs are launched every day for upcoming entrepreneurs, Seed fund and free training sessions by experts are really helping to upcoming entrepreneurs.
And in upcoming days India will become hub for innovation and entrepreneurship
What do you want to accomplish in the next 5 years with your business?
Within the next 5 years i want to expand my business to overseas although I’m having virtual offices at Dubai, and USA, But I want to expand it other countries like UK and Singapore. And I want to take the turnover to billion dollar.

We have not been affected on this for our line of business
