Tell us about yourself?

I have done honours Degree in Bachelor’s of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering branch from Sri Satya Sai University of Technology & Medical Sciences Sehore; I started my career in 2017 as an Android Developer.

I have a very keen interest in learning the latest trending technologies, so I started learning Angular. Currently, I’m a full-stack developer having experience in Enterprise application development for SAP, Samsung, Daimler, and Infosys.

What lessons has being an entrepreneur taught you?

When I started to live my dream of creating my own startup, it was not at all easy, I created my business website in January 2020, and we were lucky enough to get a few clients in the first month itself, but unfortunately, the Covid19 wave came in March end, and our clients were in a dilemma to whether continue the development or drop the projects.

We were not having any funds as I’m a first-generation entrepreneur. We did not have any option to step back, so we continued developing mobile applications for the open market.

Throughout my journey, the thumb rule I follow in Egen Softwares is that Always make transparent conversations with your clients. Be approachable to your clients, and don’t make any false promises to impress.

If you could go back in time to when you first started your business, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

If I had got this advice earlier, I would have been in a different stage. I feel when you start your business; you should stick to your routines and timelines for delivery.

A lot of entrepreneurs find it difficult to balance their work and personal lives. How have you found that?

Being an entrepreneur is a 24*7 job, and somewhere you have to sacrifice something to achieve others. You have to understand that you can’t get apples and oranges together.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

I aim to impact a large society base to improve their work. I am able to contribute to my society by giving employment opportunities and making the world a better place. Improving the lifestyle of each one connected with Egen Softwares directly or indirectly.

What do you think is your magic sauce? What sets you apart from the competitors?

How have you found sales so far? Do you have any lessons you could pass on to other founders in the same market as you just starting out?

Start with what you have. Don’t wait for the perfect timing. Just start implementing your idea and always accept the feedback positively.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far in your business, and how did you overcome it?

Having the proper resources to implement the solution is a major challenge I have faced initially. But we have resolved this by providing in-house training to our developers

🇮🇳 What (if any) are some weaknesses of operating your business within India and your state?

Limited resource availability is a major drawback. Resources expertise is lacking here due to low training availability.

🇮🇳 If you could operate your business in another state in India rather than the state you are in, which state would it be and why?

It would be Karnataka or Gujarat due to the government schemes and infrastructure services being world-class.

🇮🇳 India has an incredibly diverse population. How has this affected your consumer base and business?

It provides opportunities to target a wider audience. This also helps businesses to identify potential problems and challenges in the community.

🇮🇳 Infrastructure is really important to businesses. How have you seen India’s infrastructure improve recently? Do you see new opportunities opening up?

With the latest advancements in communication and low-cost data, services have improvised the quality of communication.

We target to improve the overall business improvement in terms of operation and management. We provide customised solutions which can be used in any manufacturing unit.

📊 What excited you most about working in the data/analytics industry?

The vast amount of data and the opportunity to positively impact society based on critical decisions derived by AI.

📊 What are some of the biggest challenges in the data/analytics industry that innovators and other startups often face?

AI/ML is in a growing phase, and Industry is not much aware of the benefits they can get by engaging AI in their ongoing business.

Preemptive Maintenance and early detection of events will help to save a lot on expenses. AI ML can help in many domains, like reality markets, stocks, and healthcare.
