Gurugram-based BatX Energies raised Rs 105 crore led by IvyCap Ventures on July 2, 2026. The company recovers lithium, cobalt, nickel and manganese from end-of-life EV batteries at commercial scale.

Battery material recovery is a government priority under India’s National Critical Minerals Mission. BatX’s existing facility processes thousands of tonnes of scrap annually. The Series A funds capacity expansion and a wider collection network across EV markets.

Mowito Raises $3M Pre-Seed for Industrial Robotic Arm AI

Blurgs AI raised $2.2 million from Pravega Ventures and Shastra VC for AI surveillance platforms serving naval and port security. Age Care Labs raised Rs 85 crore Series B1 for tech-enabled elder care services across Indian metros.

Indian startups raised $7.4 billion in H1 2026, the strongest first half since 2022. AI funding grew over 4x year on year. Six startups reached unicorn status including Sarvam AI and Neysa ($1.2B AI infrastructure round).
