Tell us about yourself?
After spending over a decade in a career in Software Quality Assurance and Testing while helping Startups, SMBs as well as Fortune 500 companies with how they test their applications, I founded “CredibleSoft Technology Solutions Private Limited” (www.CredibleSoft.com) with the singular goal of helping businesses and organizations with how they build and test their software, web and mobile applications and how they can do it in a much BETTER way.
What lessons has being an entrepreneur taught you?
To be extremely patient and highly resilient. Incidentally, the Pandemic struck when CredibleSoft was fairly young but our unwavering determination to succeed helped us overcome the challenges.
If you could go back in time to when you first started your business, what piece of advice would you give yourself?
Ignore what others (especially, the naysayers) have to say about your business. You know yourself and your business better than anybody else. Listen to your instincts and you should be alright!
A lot of entrepreneurs find it difficult to balance their work and personal lives. How have you found that?
It is only a problem when you start mixing them up. As long as you know and respect the boundaries, this shouldn’t be a problem.

How have you found sales so far? Do you have any lessons you could pass on to other founders in the same market as you just starting out?
In our initial few years, most of our sales were organic and via word of mouth publicity.
It was only after the Pandemic struck we started actively investing in Sales and Marketing strategies.
We currently have a small yet skilled sales team that is quite efficient in keeping our project pipelines busy.
What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far in your business, and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge was the Covid-19 Pandemic and we overcame it by being persistent and patient.
The initial months were pretty challenging.
We lost clients and projects like most other businesses but we overcame that by setting up an effective sales approach.
What do you consider are the main strengths of operating your business in India and the specific state you are in over other states in India?
We started out with our head office in Chennai but now we have branches in Bangalore as well.
We are planning to open new offices in Gurgaon and Mumbai shortly.
What (if any) are some weaknesses of operating your business within India and your state?
Currently we don’t see anything that could be constructed as a weakness of operating our business within India.
If you could operate your business in another state in India rather than the State you are in, which state would it be and why?
We started out with our head office in Chennai but now we have branches in Bangalore as well.

India has an incredibly diverse population. How has the affected your consumer base and business?
The diversity is perhaps India’s most incredible strength.
We for example, have employees from different parts of India and clients from all corners of this wonderful country.
Infrastructure is really important to businesses. How have you seen India’s infrastructure improve recently? Do you see new opportunities opening up?
Infrastructures to run business have seen tremendous growth in recent years.
We feel fortunate to be operating in such times where expanding business is no longer cumbersome.
What do you want to accomplish in the next 5 years with your business?
We want to be able to achieve at at least 20% to 25% YoY growth over next 5 years.
If we can repeat the kind of growth that we have seen in past 5 years, this should be perfectly achievable.
India has recently imposed some relatively high tariffs. Has this had an impact on your business? Do you support the tariffs?
Since most of our business clients are overseas, such tariff hikes have not impacted us much.
As such, we should look at such tariffs as cost of doing business, hence, no complaints!
