Tell us about yourself?

I’ve achieved a degree in electrical engineering. Starting Travassa Holidays was a dream come true for me. I had always been passionate about travel, and wanted to share that passion with others. My goal was to create a travel company that offered unique and unforgettable experiences to people from all walks of life.

If you could go back in time a year or two, what piece of advice would you give yourself?

Looking back, I’d tell myself to stay flexible and keep an eye on what travelers want. In the past year or two, as we’ve expanded to cover more destinations in India and started offering trips to places like the Maldives, Bali, and Dubai, it’s crucial to understand what our customers are looking for. Building good relationships with partners, both at home and abroad, is also key to making sure we provide the best experiences possible for our travelers.

What problem does your business solve?

Travassa Holidays solves the problem of planning and executing memorable, hassle-free vacations. Many travelers face challenges when organizing trips, including researching destinations, booking accommodations, arranging transportation, and coordinating activities. Our business streamlines this process by offering comprehensive travel services, including customized itineraries, accommodation bookings, transportation arrangements, and curated activities.

Moreover, we address the growing demand for responsible and sustainable travel options. With our commitment to promoting eco-friendly practices and supporting local communities, we enable travelers to explore the world while minimizing their environmental footprint and making a positive impact on the destinations they visit.

What is the inspiration behind your business?

Driven by a lifelong passion for travel, I harbored a deep desire to extend that passion to others. What is your magic sauce?

At Travassa Holidays, our “magic sauce” lies in crafting personalized experiences that resonate with our clients on a deeply individual level. We excel at understanding our customers and their unique needs, ensuring that every journey we curate is tailor-made to exceed expectations and create unforgettable memories.

What is the plan for the next 5 years? What do you want to achieve?

Over the next five years, our vision for Travassa Holidays is to expand our offerings to new destinations, enhance the travel experience through technology, prioritize sustainability initiatives, elevate customer service, and invest in the continuous improvement and growth of our team. We aim to build a larger, more diverse team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to curating unforgettable experiences for our clients and driving the success and sustainability of our business.

What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?

The biggest challenge we’ve faced thus far was navigating the prolonged aftermath of the lockdown, which took approximately 2.5 years to fully recover from. During this time, we recognized the evolving needs of travelers, particularly the demand for fixed departure options and solo travel experiences. To address these shifting preferences, we made strategic investments in both technology and marketing. These investments not only enabled us to reach a wider audience but also allowed us to enhance the overall travel experience we offer. By adapting to changing circumstances and investing in key areas, we were able to successfully overcome this challenge and continue providing exceptional journeys to our clients.

How do people get involved/buy into your vision?
